Looking for a cheap LED bulb or LED lighting? We have a very wide range of LED lamps. We have LED bulbs with e27 fitting, LED lamps with e14 fitting but also LED spotlights with GU10 fitting. We also have a wide range of colored LED lamps. These are available with normal glass or in plastic. Ideal for example for an indicator cable.
LED lighting is an energy efficient replacement for the light bulb. An LED bulb often uses 6 to 10x less power than an incandescent or halogen bulb for the same light. LED bulbs often have opal/matt glass but nowadays there is more and more LED lighting with clear glass.
Buy LED Bulbs
Small LED bulbs come in many shapes and sizes. Besides LED bulbs with bayonet fitting, we also sell most commonly known are 12 volt LED bulbs with a G4 or G9 plug-in fitting. These small capsule bulbs are very small and have two pins. You usually plug these into a lamp holder that works with 12 volts. There are also tube bulbs with a small fitting. Think for example of an LED lamp for in the refrigerator, hood or sewing machine. These LED bulbs are the ideal energy-efficient replacement for your old halogen bulbs.
Difference LED Bulb and LED filament lamp
Normal LED bulbs and LED Filament bulbs both use energy efficient LED Filament technology. However, LED lamps often have frosted glass and do not emit light via a "filament twist" as with an LED Filament lamp. Therefore, they are particularly suitable for a fixture where you do not see the light source itself. In addition, with LED there are also more replacements available for an incandescent or halogen lamp. Think for example of LED spotlights or LED bar lamps.
Dimmable LED lamps
Originally, LED lighting is often not dimmable. However, the assortment of dimmable LED lamps is increasing. Do you want a large choice of dimmable LED lamps? Then look at our LED filament lamps (also called LED bulbs). These bulbs are more often dimmable, often have clear glass and a decorative "filament"(filament) in the bulb and are still energy efficient.
Which LED bulb gives warm light?
If you want an LED bulb with warm light you should pay attention to the color temperature of the bulb. This is indicated by Kelvin. An LED lamp with a color temperature between 2700 and 3300 Kelvin gives warm light. Would you like an LED bulb that gives even warmer light? Then choose an LED bulb between 1800 and 2600 Kelvin.
Another factor to consider for warm light is the color of the glass of the bulb. For very warm light, choose a bulb with gold-tinted glass. Be aware that this does come at the expense of light output. If you want the same light output from a clear bulb, choose a higher wattage bulb. A good example of a lamp with instant ambiance is the Calex Gold Finish Led bulb.
How long does an LED bulb last?
An LED bulb lasts as long as 15,000 to 30,000 hours. This compares to approximately 2000 hours of an incandescent lamp. In addition, the number of switching cycles also affects the lifespan. This is around 10,000 times for an LED bulb. So depending on your use, an LED bulb will last a certain amount of time. You can assume that an LED bulb will last at least a few years.
What does an LED lamp cost per year?
What an LED lamp costs per year depends on the type of LED lamp you buy. But for this example we assume a standard LED bulb of 6 watts. If you use the LED bulb three hours a day, you will use 6.57 Kwh (kilowatt hours) per year. With the current average Kwh price this costs € 1,45 per year. With the purchase price of our most popular LED bulb and a lifespan of thirteen years, an LED bulb costs € 1.79 per year.
